US FOODS is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy and product quality. The role involves clerical tasks, updating computer records, and preparing stock requisitions to support efficient shipping and customer satisfaction.

Location is Aurora, IL with relocation to Plainfield, IL by mid-2027; starting pay is $25 per hour, with a base rate range noted in the posting. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of experience with inventory control and HAACP requirements

Job description

Helps maintain inventory levels and product quality by performing essential clerical functions, including records compilation and retention, computer updates and requisition preparation. This provides the division with up-to-date inventory records to ensure efficient shipping and a high confidence in customer product.

Our Inventory Control Coordinators start at $25 per hour.

Schedule & Location Monday- Friday I 11AM-7:30PM | Aurora, IL.

This position will relocate to Plainfield, IL by mid- 2027.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compiles records from ordering, shipping, and receiving materials.
• Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.
• Assesses stock supply and reorder status.
• Prepares and verifies requisition of additional stock items.
• Assists in inventory and procedural audits when necessary.
• Performs other clerical duties as necessary.

RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Inventory Control Supervisor/Director - Receives training and limited supervision in daily activities. Review of errors occurred. Advises on the activities of other inventory control associates.

Day Warehouse Manager - Receives information on inventory issues

Purchasing Department - Receives & provides information on inventory and quality control issues.

External: None

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED

Related Experience: 5 years of experience with inventory control and HAACP requirements required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic computer skills. Must be able to work on complex tasks, prioritize workload and advise others in department on workflow. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to others.

Physical Requirements: Constant sitting, frequent standing or walking. Must be able to operate a computer and perform filing.

About US FOODS®

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $21.93 and $36.55.

As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation.
