Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for our New Orleans operations. The role focuses on receiving, inspecting, and reinserting returned goods, while maintaining accurate daily inventory and product quality for the distribution network in the local area.

Responsibilities include validating returned items, breaking down cases, and prioritizing accurate entry into inventory systems, ensuring timely stock visibility for customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months experience in accounting, inventory accounting admin support or related area
• 1–2 years preferred in accounting, inventory accounting admin support or related area

• Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on product.
• Breaks full cases of produce into smaller ones
• Keeps inventory up on a daily basis.
• Sorts through pallets of bad products.
• Determines quality of products returned by customers.

Qualifications:

Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months in Accounting, inventory accounting admin support or related area
