Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling, LLC in Dyersburg, TN is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to help maintain accurate inventory records and support efficient material flow. You will monitor stock levels, process purchase and customer orders, and collaborate with purchasing and production to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in manufacturing warehousing, proficiency with MS Excel, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • 3–5 years of warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must wear all required PPE.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend and twist for 10 hours per day.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and self-motivated; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
  • Oversee preparation and processing of purchase orders and customer orders.
  • Identify/investigate inventory discrepancies and make corrections.
  • Ensure sufficient stock to meet operational needs while minimizing overstocking.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and other departments to manage material flow.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports for management and suggest improvements.
  • Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
