Responsibilities

Primary Objective

Monitor and track inventory of all flooring products and accessories in assigned warehouse. Responsible for cycle counting and maintaining accurate records of inventory by handling all paperwork and procedures necessary to meet this goal. Provide management information on inventory problems, corrections, and adjustments. Support other warehouse personnel in loading and unloading flooring products.

Major Function and Scope

• Perform cycle counts on flooring products in warehouse according to assigned schedule.
• Conduct as necessary, any search to locate products within the internal business system. Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product and records. Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.
• Assist in processing and inspecting returns.
• Perform searches for Lost & Found inventory and cycle counts on a regular basis and make system adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Complete and issue all necessary records and report including filing invoices and maintaining customer records.
• Process claims and returns merchandise to proper location onto salvage bin.
• Process DAMAGE inventory – i.e. pulling from bulk and or racks – restack to make full pallets and restore to appropriate area –– any other related assignment including but not limited to labeling and system inventory adjustments.
• Operate forklift, cherry picker, and reach truck safely and efficiently.
• Assist other warehouse personnel with their responsibilities, which could include operating lift truck, or loading delivery trucks.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years related experience preferred

• Must be able to pass the Mohawk Lift Truck Certification
