Inventory Control Clerk Inter- % Pavilion

We are seeking a full-time experienced, self-motivated, and organized Inventory Control
Clerk to assist in maintaining and growing the RTLS (Real-Time Location System) used to track medical equipment. This position reports to the Manager of Patient Equipment.

Successful candidate for this role will have experience in information technology including an understanding of network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, Routing, and IP address assignment). This role ensures the accurate application of RFID technology to enable tracking and management of durable medical equipment (DME).

Responsibilities*
  • Manage battery change process and change batteries in RFID tags as needed.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise with Mobileview application working in conjunction with Facilities and Information Technology team members.
  • Management of the inventory of tags, batteries and other supplies related to RFID.
  • RFID tagging of new and existing equipment including updating data in the Mobileview system.
  • Perform data imports and exports.
  • Develop and run reports to support the Patient Equipment Department processes and needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the RFID system and open tickets for Information Technology as the need is identified.
  • Validate and maintain data integrity.
  • Work with a team to support Exciter moves, adds, and changes.
  • Monitor events, interpret reports, develop action plans, and follow up on resolution.
  • Perform system audits to ensure tags and system tracking are working correctly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications*
  • High school diploma or an equivalent
  • 4 years or more experience in information technology including an understanding of network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, Routing, IP Address, Assignment)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize work with concurrent deadlines and operate in a fast-paced, proactive environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in tagging and data entry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; speaks English language clearly.
  • Local travel to offsite clinic locations, valid Michigan driver's license
  • Comfortable working in a hospital environment including work on inpatient floors.
  • Must be able to physically walk hospital and be standing for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders up to 6 feet.
