Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk I -- Forklift in Indiana to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper recording of received and shipped orders. The role includes cycle counting, reporting metrics, and coordinating with departments to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 0–2 years in a warehouse setting, forklift experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0--2 years of relevant experience.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• 1 year of forklift operating experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina to sit, walk, or stand up to 10 hours.
• Mobility to crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.
• Visual acuity and depth perception.
• Ability to lift/carry items under 50 pounds.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Administer the cycle count program.
• Maintain and report inventory metrics.
• Audit, correct, track, and report errors and variances.
• Print and assign daily pick lists; resolve missing items.
• Manage recall inventory and reporting.
• Monitor warehouse capacity and safety compliance.
• Follow all safety rules and report breakage.
• Maintain 100% quality and accuracy levels.
• Perform duties per instructions and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as requested.
