Job summary

Fresh Express is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock data in PRMS. You will perform daily cycle counts, oversee materials such as raw materials, packaging, film, condiments, and verify storage yard inventories.

The role requires precise data entry, adherence to SOPs, and cooperation with production, warehouse, scheduling and purchasing to support inventory integrity and timely reporting. This shift-focused position involves coordinating month-end, quarter-end and year-end

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory/warehouse roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and coordinate inventory across warehouses.
• Maintain accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.
• Interface with production, warehouse, scheduling, and purchasing as needed.
• Assist with shipping and receiving as assigned.
• Maintain files for audit and SOX compliance.
• Review variances and perform corrective actions, including MUV reports.
• Distribute daily trailer inventory reports.

Job description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data in PRMS. This requires daily cycle counting and inventory maintenance, packaging, film and condiment inventories, and verification of daily storage yard inventory.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Inventory coordination responsibility for all warehouses.
• Timely and accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging, film, condiments.
• Accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.
• Following proper documentation procedures in accordance with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements and other company procedures.
• Interface with production, warehouse, scheduling, purchasing, etc as needed.
• Assist in Shipping and / or receiving before or after completion of inventory functions as assigned by Assistant Supervisor or Manager. This may vary depending on department / plant needs.
• Comply with GMP's, Safety, food safety and all other company policies and procedures.
• Inventory variance review, research, and explanation as needed. Also, follow-up on findings of that research as corrective actions where appropriate. This also includes MUV research and reports as required or requested by the accounting department.
• Report and distribute daily trailer inventory report.
• Maintain files readily available for review.

While this is not a lead position, many responsibilities fall upon this position. Because of the primarily third shift functions, this person works alone or with little support on most days. This person also coordinates month-end, quarter-end, and year-end physical inventory schedules, staffs, and overall plans.
