The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for performing physical inventory and systematic inventory control functions to support the production environment. The role involves ensuring inventory accuracy and the preservation of the condition of materials in storage, handling, and transportation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Processing and inputting all PO receipts into SAP, including in-transit material.
2. Entering material movement data within SAP.
3. Maintaining good relationships with internal customers by responding courteously to inquiries and complaints regarding receipts, invoices, shipments, and inventory counts.
4. Organizing and maintaining a clean work area.
5. Collaborating with the Purchasing Department on inspections.
6. Conducting sample inspections of vendor-managed items.
7. Scheduling incoming deliveries.
8. Receiving and unloading materials, verifying shipment accuracy.
9. Labeling incoming goods.
10. Maintaining correct inventory quantities.
11. Fulfilling customer orders promptly.
12. Ensuring proper care and maintenance of materials and equipment.
13. Following department policies and procedures.
14. Inspecting shipments for damages or defects and recording discrepancies.
15. Sorting, counting, packaging, labeling, and logging inventory.
16. Generating necessary paperwork for inventory records.
17. Maintaining Key Performance Indicators for inventory control.
18. Working overtime as needed.
19. Complying with safety regulations.
20. Exhibiting continuous improvement behaviors.
21. Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• High reliability.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Logistics, Warehouse, or Inventory Control.

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience with MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Quick learner with attention to detail.
