Primetals Technologies USA in Ghent, KY is seeking a 2nd shift Inventory Control Clerk to receive, store, and issue parts and tools and maintain accurate inventory records.

The role requires a current, valid driver license, forklift operation, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Prior inventory experience is preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package and a $5000 hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver license is required.
• Prior experience in inventory control preferred.
• Pre-employment physical exam and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues parts, tools, and equipment.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
• Prepares inventory records and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
• Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.
• Prepares reports and recommends options for defective or unusable items.
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming parts, tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
• May repair, service, and lubricate tools and equipment using hand tools or spray cans.
• May deliver parts, tools or equipment to workers as required.
• May mark and identify parts, tools and equipment.
• Maintain orderly and debris-free inventory stock room.
• May prepare shipping documents for shipments.
• May operate forklift and lifting equipment as necessary to process goods.
