Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control Clerk in Northlake, TX. You will maintain inventory accuracy by verifying inbound and outbound orders and ensure records reflect in the WMS (Oracle).

The role is 1st shift, 7am-3pm, Monday to Friday, with pay of $20.75 per hour. Requires at least 1 year warehouse experience; forklift cert preferred within 30 days. Great benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion within 30 days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience working with inbound and outbound operations.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience using an RF Scanner; Minimum of 6 months using a WMS system.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
