Flowers Foods, Inc. in Denton, TX is seeking a dependable Materials Handler to replenish, inspect, and account for all plant supplies. You will perform receiving, storage, and inter-company shipments while maintaining accuracy and safety in daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in shipping/receiving, a high school diploma, and a commitment to workmanship. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits, with opportunities for professional growth within Flowers Foods.

Competenze

• One or more years of experience in shipping/receiving operations.
• High School diploma or equivalency.

Mansioni

• Replenishes all required ingredients, wrapping and labeling supplies, and miscellaneous items.
• Receives and inspects all incoming shipments for damaged or unsanitary merchandise and refuses or returns such items.
• Properly stores and rotates production supplies.
• Performs inventory of supplies on weekly basis.
• Arranges for inter-company shipment(s) of materials to other plants.
• Delivers some supplies throughout plant.
• Completes daily/weekly administrative paperwork.
• Ensures that work area is clean and organized (like items together and in designated areas).
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures

Bringing Home the Dough

Responsible for replenishing, receiving, inspecting and accounting for all material used in plant. Also makes inter-company shipments when necessary. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

Salary Range- 21.42/hr
