Job summary

LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is seeking an Inventory Control Associate for the Cranbury Distribution Center in New Jersey to ensure stock accuracy and timely support across all departments. You will analyze discrepancies, coordinate replenishments, update balances, and perform transactions in the WMS; this is 1st shift 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The role requires English literacy and two years of distribution center experience, with the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a fast paced

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in a Distribution Center environment.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory discrepancies and variances through cycle counts and research.
• Coordinate replenishments when product is needed at location.
• Communicate updates to Customer Management as needed.
• Update inventory balances as needed.
• Participate in physical inventories if needed.
• Assist variance research with Cycle Count Reconciliation Lead.
• Process cancelled orders.
• Perform inventory transactions (receipts, adjustments, transfers, returns) in the WMS.
• Provide coverage for Inventory Control Supervisor and Lead when needed.
• Process damage sheets in SCALE system.
• Assist with packing product to move to Reserve.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Handle a variety of Inventory Control tasks and duties on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and support to all departments at the Cranbury Distribution Center.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze inventory discrepancies (line shorts/missing product) and variances through cycle counts, trouble shooting and systematic research.
• Coordinate replenishments when product is needed at location
• Communicate to Customer Management as needed
• Update inventory balances as needed
• Participate in physical inventories if needed.
• Partner with Cycle Count Reconciliation Lead to assist variance research
• Assist with processing Cancelled Orders
• Perform inventory transactions when needed. (receipts, adjustments, transfers, and returns) into the WMS System.
• Provide coverage for the Inventory Control Supervisor and Lead when needed.
• Process damage sheets in SCALE system
• Assist with packing product to move to Reserve

Physical Requirements

• Able to pick/pack, unpack and lift cartons up to 30lbs as required by the role
• Ability to push and pull picking carts, pallets and material handling equipment
• Continuous standing/walking for an average of 7.5 hours/day
• Continuous bending/movement of arms, torso and legs for an average of 7.5 hours/day.
