Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support warehouse operations with inventory control, discrepancy resolution, and cycle counting.

The role involves reconciling stock records, investigating misplacements, and ensuring accurate allocation for customer orders. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office, familiar with RedPrairie WMS and Mapics ERP, and possess strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of RedPrairie WMS or comparable system.
• Working knowledge of Mapics ERP or comparable system.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to spot discrepancies.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification on various Power Industrial Truck equipment.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced automated environment.

Responsibilities

• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate locations in error and ensure proper product allocation.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound orders.
• Provide current inventory snapshots per customer requirements.
• Cycle count and update inventory daily.

The Warehouse Inventory Control Clerks provide experience in receiving, inventory control and other warehouse duties.

• Research and Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Investigate locations in error and ensuring proper allocation of product
• Load and unload inbound/outbound orders
• Provide current inventory snapshots per customer requirements and requests
• Cycle count and update inventory daily

Qualifications

Knowledge and Work Experience:

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of RedPrairie or comparable WMS
• Working knowledge of Mapics or comparable ERP
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Certified on various types of Power Industrial Truck Forklift equipment
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced automated environment
