Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, Inc. is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk for the midnight shift (10:30 pm to 7:00 am). The role focuses on receiving, inventory control, and related warehouse duties with an hourly rate of $21.50 plus a $2 shift differential.

Responsibilities include reconciling discrepancies, locating misallocated inventory, loading/unloading orders, and providing current inventory snapshots on demand. Candidates should have strong math/analytical skills and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Medium proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Inventory Control Clerk

Midnights 1030pm to 7am

Hourly Rate $21.50 + $2 Shift differential

The Warehouse Inventory Control Clerks provide experience in receiving, inventory control and other warehouse duties.

• Research and Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Investigate locations in error and ensuring proper allocation of product
• Load and unload inbound/outbound orders
• Provide current inventory snapshots per customer requirements and requests
• Cycle count and update inventory daily

Qualifications

Knowledge and Work Experience:

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of RedPrairie or comparable WMS
• Working knowledge of Mapics or comparable ERP
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Certified on various types of Power Industrial Truck Forklift equipment
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced automated environment
