Job summary

Lightship Energy, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to manage parts and materials for our all-electric trailer program in Colorado. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and support safety-focused operations in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on role requires initiative, reliability, and teamwork. You will operate forklifts or pallet jacks, use our inventory systems, and collaborate with supply chain, production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
• Proficiency in Office Applications (Microsoft Office or Google Suite).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Manage inventory requisition and disposition requests.
• Work closely with supply chain, production, quality, and engineering teams to support inventory needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Utilize and update our inventory management systems.
• Receive, inspect, and track incoming materials and parts.

• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite ERP experience.
• Experience documenting standard operating procedures.

• Lightship compensation consists of the stated pay range plus equity, which gives you a stake in the company.

$27 - $27 an hour
