Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an Inventory Control Auditor to physically count inventory and reconcile results with the SAP system. The role supports Purchasing and Production by ensuring data accuracy.

Responsibilities include conducting regular counts, auditing production quantities, and investigating discrepancies, while maintaining safe, unsupervised work habits and a flexible schedule as needed to meet stockroom demands.

Position Description

The position of Inventory Control Auditor is employed with the task of physically counting items and matching the physical count to the computer inventory. The auditor also performs a number of tasks related to inventory with the goal of keeping the computer system data accurate for the Purchasing and Production groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous inventory measurement through physical counts, calculations, recording and reconciling in SAP.
• Interface with the stockroom personnel while counting like materials.
• Audit production order quantities.
• Correct failed goods movements that pertain to shop floor raw materials.
• Investigate causes of large difference when doing reconciliations.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Computer, SAP and basic math skills are required.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills with all departments.

• Must be able to work well unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• The Auditor may be required to work a flexible work schedule due to stock room needs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and follow all safety rules.
