Job summary

Johnson Brothers is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage warehouse inventory activities and ensure accurate counts and documentation.

You will research shipping errors, verify shipments with the company's tools, and adjust records for discrepancies while reporting progress to management.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to lift 40–60 lbs, with experience in warehouse systems preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years inventory control experience preferred.
• Warehouse management systems experience preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• AS400 knowledge a plus.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to lift 40–60 lbs repeatedly.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, cherry picker).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Flexible schedule for earlier or later shifts.

Responsibilities

• Daily research of shipping errors for bottle pulls and full cases.
• Verify accuracy of inventory shipped using company tools.
• Provide proactive updates to management on open issues.
• Adjust records when discrepancies exist.
• Count all products to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Identify and propose solutions for stockouts, damages, discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory-related reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
