Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support our warehouse operations. The role focuses on researching inventory discrepancies, running cycle counts, and adjusting records to reflect accurate counts.

You will work with RF scanning equipment and ERP systems to verify variances and ensure data integrity. Primary responsibilities include data entry from POs and invoices, collaboration with Procurement, and periodic analysis of stock movements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six months to one year related experience.
  • Knowledge of the WMiS system and TOLAS Inventory software.
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to work with RF scan equipment.

Responsibilities

  • The Inventory Specialist researches inventory discrepancies, runs daily cycle count reports, enters cycle count data, confirms variances, and makes adjustments including RTS; investigates shortages and monitors inventory moves.
  • Compiles data from purchase orders, invoices, and accounting reports to maintain inventory records.
  • Communicates with the Procurement team and vendors to resolve product problems.
  • Utilizes Voice-Directed and RF handheld units to cycle count and research variances; uses fixed station computers to analyze variances.

Primary Responsibilities

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for researching inventory discrepancies, running daily cycle count reports, keying in cycle count entries, confirming variances, making multiple inventory adjustments include RTS, investigating product shortages and monitoring inventory moves.

Essential Functions
  • Compiles data from purchase orders, invoices and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory records
  • Able to communicate with Procurement team and vendors to resolve product problems
  • Utilizes Voice-Directed and/or an RF hand held unit to cycle count and research inventory variances.
  • Utilizes fixed station computers to analyze, research, and adjust inventory variances.
  • Able to communicate with Procurement team and vendors to resolve product problems.
  • Operates material handling equipment to cycle count and research inventory variances.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six months to one year related experience required.

  • Knowledge of the WMiS system and TOLAS Inventory software.
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • Able to work with RF scan equipment.
