Job summary

S&D Coffee is seeking an Inventory Control Associate I for the second shift in Conway, AR. The role involves warehouse duties, shipping/receiving, forklift operation, and inventory transfers with emphasis on accuracy and safety. You will perform RF transactions and stock inventory using a powered lift truck.

Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors on material needs, maintaining GMP compliance, and supporting a fast-paced warehouse environment while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year forklift operator experience.
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse or manufacturing experience.
  • 2+ years of powered lift truck experience.
  • 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to use basic math skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to follow a schedule, as well as verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate comfortably and work with co-workers in a team environment.
  • Functions well in a very active, fast-paced environment.

  • Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trailers.
  • Pick, stage and stock inventory using a powered lift truck while utilizing barcode scanning technology to execute transactions.
  • Maintains warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
  • Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management

Job Description

The Inventory Control Assoc I is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties including but not limited to; shipping and receiving, loading, and unloading products from trailer and moving it within the warehouse by carrying or lifting, as well as operating forklifts, stocking and storing warehouse inventory, and fulfilling transfer orders as necessary while ensuring accuracy and timelines of all job functions.
