Job summary

Weis Markets in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a store associate responsible for receiving merchandise, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining backroom organization. You will greet customers, assist with questions, and help prevent shrink through proper receiving procedures.

The role requires high school education (GED acceptable) and 2+ years in receiving is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; preferably two years or more experience in receiving.
• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees vendors and incoming/outgoing merchandise to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintains backroom organization and 5S cleanliness for receiving area.
• Performs packaging, labeling, and sanitation duties per company guidelines.
• Uses PPE and follows safety standards during receiving and stock handling.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
