Job summary

Charcuterie is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support cycle counts, labeling, and bin maintenance in a cold storage warehouse. You will verify locations, report discrepancies, and assist with year-end inventories while operating forklifts and barcode scanners.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to work with ERP systems as procedures are learned. A forklift certification is required and the position includes on-site work in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year warehouse/inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Willingness to learn ERP system usage and data procedures.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm/occasional Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and assist with routine inventory audits
• Support labeling and bin maintenance activities

Requirements

• Attention to detail and basic math skills
• Familiarity with handheld barcode scanners or inventory tools
• Comfortable manipulating data in excel using formatting and basic formulas
• Ability to follow instructions and escalation discrepancies when unsure
• Forklift certification required
• Willingness to learn ERP system usage and data procedures

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse or inventory-support role preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting, squatting, walking, reaching and standing
• Must work in cold storage environments (average 40°F, occasionally -4°F)
