PrideStaff is looking for experienced Inventory Control Associates!
Summary of Position

Inventory Control Associate will manage and track all inventory levels, ordering new stock when needed, and ensuring accurate records of inventory movement. This role also includes tasks like receiving and inspecting shipments, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area. The focus is on maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet business needs while minimizing costs and waste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ordering and Receiving:
    Monitor inventory levels, place orders with suppliers, and receive and inspect shipments to ensure accuracy.
  • Inventory Management:
    Maintain accurate records of inventory, including stock levels, location, and pricing.
  • Reconciling Discrepancies:
    Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system records.
  • Physical Inventory Audits:
    Assist with or conduct physical inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting:
    Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other relevant metrics for management.
  • Safety:
    Ensure compliance with safety standards in the warehouse or storage area.
  • Warehouse Organization:
    Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient storage area.
  • Coordination:
    Coordinate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Tracking:
    Accurately track inventory movement (inbound and outbound), maintaining records of inventory transactions.
Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma: Minimum education requirement.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and organize large amounts of inventory.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and meticulousness are essential for maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, warehouse staff, and other departments.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software and databases.
  • Math Skills: Strong analytical and math skills for inventory calculations and reporting.
  • Warehouse Experience: Familiarity with warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
  • Physical Stamina: May involve some physical activity, such as lifting and moving materials.
