Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work activities.
  • Ability to read, speak and comprehend English.
  • Detail oriented with a strong work ethic. Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Able to operate or be certified to operate a forklift truck.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep the production areas accident‑free
  • Check IC (intercompany) completions daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed
  • Perform blend BOM updates as directed by PDM, production or plant manager
  • Check WebEFF entries daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed
  • Communicate any inventory concerns to PDM
  • Assist with trouble shooting inventory issues as needed throughout the plant
  • Perform scrap transactions as needed
  • Direct plant activity for accurate and timely inventory control
  • Assist in weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts
  • Manage raw material inventories
  • Reconcile appropriate company databases
  • Collect and reconcile daily summary sheets, data entries, and scrap entries
  • Work with various departments regarding needs and issues
  • Manage all aspects of scrap
  • Create requisitions and communicate with vendors and AP for timely receipt and payment
  • Manage consumables inventory
  • Operate PIT and Picker in a safe and responsible manner
  • Perform other related duties/tasks as may be assigned

Job Description

The starting rate of annual base pay for this position is between $52,000 to $57,000. Starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

LOCATION: Sterling, MA (not eligible for relocation or employment-based visa sponsorship)

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Summary

The Inventory Control Analyst maintains accurate and efficient inventory operations by verifying daily transactions, managing materials and scrap. This position requires a high degree of accuracy.

Essential Job Functions
  • Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep the production areas accident‑free

Physical And Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and crawl for extended periods multiple times per day.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
  • Able to climb stairs.
  • No fear of heights.
  • Must have manual dexterity involving total finger and wrist action, pushing, twisting, pulling, and raising arms at or above shoulder height.
  • Ability to work in warm, humid, and cool climates.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, steel toe shoes/boots, face shield, bump cap, and gloves.
