Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst in the United States, with a focus on accurate inventory management and data-driven decision support. You’ll analyze performance, identify root causes of discrepancies, and develop reporting tools to improve efficiency across the supply chain.

The role requires a bachelor’s in logistics or related field and about a year of inventory control experience, plus strong Excel, WMS, and data-processing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of inventory control experience in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills (macros, v-lookup, etc.).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications and database systems.
• Ability to convert raw data into actionable information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain databases, extract information, and develop metrics to measure and improve performance.
• Research performance, productivity data, and error rates.
• Identify root causes of inventory transaction errors and address them.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to support business decisions.
• Prepare reports, graphs, charts, and presentations to support analyses.
• Recommend process or system changes through inventory analyses.
