Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Create store numbers in Oracle as needed to ensure proper tracking.
  • Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain correct stock levels.
  • Create and optimize store locations to maximize existing storage capacity.
  • Review and adjust Min/Max order points to align inventory with current usage trends.
  • Collaborate with all departments to identify obsolete and unidentified parts.
  • Create and maintain records for audits, adjustments, and additions to store inventory.
  • Conduct daily 5S activities and inventory audits in addition to regular cycle counts.
  • Provide support to storeroom attendants as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for overseeing the daily inventory management of both the main storeroom and its various satellite locations. This role involves managing the process of introducing and implementing new stock items, as well as conducting both random and scheduled inventory counts to ensure accuracy and optimal stock levels.

What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Previous Warehouse and Inventory Control Experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all departments (including Senior Leadership) to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Proficient in computer applications, with advanced Excel skills. Oracle experience is preferred.
  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), especially MVP, experience is a plus.
