Job summary

Royston Group in Bell Gardens, CA is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage day-to-day inventory in a manufacturing setting. You will work with production, warehouse, and logistics to ensure accurate records and timely materials for production.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, receiving, storage, and using inventory systems to track items, generate pick lists, and resolve discrepancies; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months experience in inventory control or related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Able to accurately count, identify, record, and track inventory items and materials.
• Able to read and interpret production schedules and material requisitions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift experience preferred; may require training.
• Experience with inventory/warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, and material requisitions to determine inventory items to be picked, moved, issued, or distributed.
• Pick, fulfill, and distribute materials to production personnel, assembly lines, and shipping operations.
• Assemble hardware packs and prepare components for shipment.
• Identify, label, and mark materials for accurate tracking.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials; confirm quantities.
• Record quantities of materials and inventory items received, issued, transferred, or distributed, maintaining accurate inventory transactions.
• Use inventory management systems to enter, update, and maintain inventory records and transaction data.
