Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Lockbourne, Ohio is hiring a permanent full-time Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and audits in a fast-paced distribution setting with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• Possibly required to be equipment certified depending on location.
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Supervisors and hourly associates on inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
