Position: Inventory Clerk/Warehouse Associate

Location: Worcester, MA, 01604

Duration: 6 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: Monday to Friday (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $25.00/Hr

Job Description:

  • Assist with all general receiving and shipping operations in GMP warehouse.
  • Assist in delivering internal production supplies.
  • Support sampling and warehousing operations for production raw materials, component materials, maintenance and production store spare parts, and laboratory stockroom.
  • Ensure proper storage of final products and facilitate shipment to international and domestic destinations.
  • Manage storage of master and working cell banks.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries to the satellite warehouse for BBC materials.
  • Maintain GMP, safety, environmental, quality, and EEO/AA standards in all warehousing activities.

Required Skills and Education:

  • 1-2 years experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.
  • Proficiency with PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, and computerized inventory control systems.
  • Ability to follow procedures meticulously and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a GMP environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, perform bending, walking, and material transportation throughout the day.

  • Support for inventory programs, including cycle counts and physical counts.
  • Operation of material handling equipment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills under time constraints.
  • Ability to stay current with training requirements.
  • Experience with cGMP, cold chain logistics, SAP, IATA/Hazmat training, and a proactive approach.
