Job summary

CJ Logistics Americas is hiring an Inventory Clerk to keep our warehouse inventory accurate and organized. You will perform cycle counts, reconcile stock, and support movement tracking across multiple locations.

Role requires a detail-oriented, proactive teammate with forklift experience and familiarity with WMS systems. Shift is 3rd a, Tue-Sat, with potential holiday work and a $24.50/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Attention to detail: spot missing items and handle discrepancies.
• Tech-Savvy: MS Office and Google Workspace; experience with WMS systems.
• Problem-solving: troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Forklift Certified: operate a Stand-Up Forklift.
• Reliability: dependable team member.

Responsibilities

• Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across locations.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for multiple inventories.
• Track product movement and correct discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate recurring inventory issues and determine root causes.
• Manage inventory statuses (on-hand, on-order, damaged) effectively.
• Operate a Stand-Up Forklift to support counts and warehouse tasks.
• Collaborate with customers, Receiving, and Sales to resolve discrepancies.

At CJ Logistics we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Clerk to join our team and keep our inventory running like clockwork in ourwarehouse environment!

• Pay Rate: $24.50/hour
• Schedule:

• 3rd A (Tue-Sat) 10:00pm - 6:30am

This is a 24/7, 365 operation, and visibility across all shifts is essential. While most responsibilities will take place during standard business hours, adaptability is key.

May have to work holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Master of Organization: Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring everything is in its rightful place.
• Cycle Count Expert: Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory, maintaining precise stock levels.
• Inventory Whisperer: Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy at all times.
• Root Cause Detective: Investigate recurring inventory issues and work to determine the root cause, helping prevent future discrepancies.
• Status Savvy: Properly manage inventory at varying status levels (e.g., on-hand, on-order, damaged) and ensure proper handling for each.
• Forklift Pro: Operate a Stand-Up Forklift to assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Collaborative Communicator: Work alongside customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
• Tackle other duties like a pro all within your training and expertise

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Attention to Detail: You can spot a missing item from a mile away and have the patience to handle even the smallest discrepancies.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workplaces. Previous experience with AS400/Korber/Blue Yonder and/or other warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You possess critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues effectively.
• Forklift Certified: You have experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift.
