Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA, Inc is seeking an Inventory Clerk to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability to sustain efficient manufacturing operations. You will receive, verify, and process materials in the ERP system, perform cycle counts, and monitor levels to prevent shortages.

Responsibilities include storing, labeling, and issuing materials to production, operating forklifts, and supporting audits and safety protocols in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse/inventory control in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process incoming materials and inventory transactions in ERP.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages.
• Store, label, organize, and issue materials to production and internal customers.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as authorized.
• Support inventory audits and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, production, quality and procurement teams to improve accuracy.

Your attention to detail will help maintain smooth production flow, accurate inventory records, and a safe, organized warehouse environment.What You'll Be DoingInventory Control & AccuracyReceive, verify, and process incoming materials and inventory transactions in the ERP system.Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or inventory concerns.Warehouse OperationsStore, label, organize, and issue materials to production and internal customers.Support material movement throughout receiving, storage, staging, and production areas.Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as authorized.Quality, Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.Identify and report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials.Maintain clean and organized work areas and support inventory audits.Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementPartner with operations, production, quality, and procurement teams to support inventory accuracy and material availability.Communicate inventory discrepancies and participate in process improvement initiatives.What You'll BringHigh School Diploma or GED.Previous warehouse, inventory control, or material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.Basic computer skills and experience using ERP or inventory management systems.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.Ability to read, follow, and document work instructions and procedures.Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment and material handling devices, as required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems.Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliations, and physical inventories.Familiarity with manufacturing materials, part numbers, and bills of materials (BOMs).Physical Demands, Work Environment & Safety RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial conditions.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toe footwear, and other job-specific safety equipment.Ability to safely operate equipment and comply with all safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance.
