Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate quantities and locations in the dry and freezer warehouses. You will perform cycle counts, label finished products, and use the SAP system to keep records up to date.

Forklift operation and collaboration with the warehouse team are essential to resolve discrepancies and support audits. Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a production environment

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• 1 year in inventory control or similar role preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Completes cycle counts and corrects inventory when needed.
• Creates inventory labels for finished product as it is moved to the freezer warehouse.
• Communicates inventory errors to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assists with periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliations.
• Operates forklifts when necessary and ensures safe handling.
• Cross-trains and assists receiving as needed; supports inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

Summary: The Inventory Clerk will ensure the accurate inventory quantities and locations in the dry and freezer warehouse.

Essential Functions:

• Completes cycle counts and corrects inventory when needed
• Create inventory labels for finished product as it is taken from the production floor to the Freezer Warehouse.
• Communicates inventory errors to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Helps management team troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
• Assists with periodic physical inventory audits
• Operates forklifts when necessary
• Help improve inventory management proceduresCross trains and help in receiving as needed
• Ensure the lines are clear of Hus to keep Inventory system (SAP) accurate.
• Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
• Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety training.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control or similar position.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education & Experiences:

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 3 years of experience as an Inventory Clerk.
• 1 year of experience with SAP.
• 1 year of experience operating a standup forklift.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Basic Math skills
• Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently and above head level
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric weight systems
