Job description

Position Overview:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for providing various audits and data related to the inventory in the Logistics Centers (LC). Other processes within inventory such as count backs, cycle counts, and reporting, both internally and to the customer.

Shift: 2nd shift 1:30 pm-11 pm

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Performs cycle counts and audits (aisle, inbound and/or outbound), and identifies and corrects inventory discrepancies.
  2. Looks into recurring issues to help determine root cause.
  3. Properly handle inventory on varying status levels.
  4. Ability to operate a forklift to complete inventory counts and other various tasks.
  5. Assists with the tracking of recoup.
  6. Execute quality hold process.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
  8. Perform all duties in a safe and timely manner.
  9. Support safety committee activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  3. Previous AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferred.
  4. Critical thinking skills.
  5. Basic math and reading skills necessary.
  6. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues.
  7. Ability to problem solve and make decisions effectively.
  8. Detail oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  9. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
