Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory in a distribution center. You will manage perpetual inventory, perform cycle counts, and generate reports to support operations and customer needs.

The role may involve product holds/releases, recalls, and returns, with compliance to quality standards such as SQFI or FDA requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generate applicable inventory reports.
• Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits and track and monitor all damaged product in inventory; provide necessary reports to leadership.
• Verify clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts; investigate and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate product recalls, holds/releases, and product infestation audits as needed.
• Monitor pest control program if required at site.

This position is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, and system audits and for utilizing the inventory management system to prepare and track materials and products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs. Various sites may require additional support based on the nature of the business. This could include, but is not limited to, product holds/releases, recalls, and returns.
