Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking an on-site Inventory Specialist in Wisconsin to manage inventory transactions, assist with cycle counts, and ensure accurate records. You will use Excel/Word and Google Workspace, operate a stock-picker forklift, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements while maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and meticulous organization, with a pay range of $18.45–$22.04 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing inventory role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity in Google workspace and platforms.
  • Desire and ability to focus on positive teamwork; confidence to bring suggestions to leadership for review.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and utilize critical thinking skills to overcome challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process and data entry of inventory transactions such as work orders, moves, adjustments, receipts, teardowns, restocks, and audit forms.
  • Investigate missing product and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process returns and damaged product.
  • Assist in physical inventories of cycle counts as needed.
  • File maintenance of inventory records.
  • Operate stock-picker forklift for inventory tasks.
  • Follow customer-specific requirements and safety rules.
  • Adhere to facility recycling and material handling practices.
  • Communicate with coworkers and supervision in a positive, professional manner.
  • Comply with safety and work rules and report incidents.
  • Represent RR Donnelley Supply Chain Solutions professionally.
  • Identify and take action when an error is presented.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed work instructions for inventory tasks.
  • Assist in training new inventory team members.
  • Certify forklift operation.
  • Cross-train in cycle counting.
  • Provide coverage and guidance when supervisor is out.

Job Description
  • Processing and data entry of inventory transactions such as work orders, moves, adjustments, receipts, teardowns, restocks, and audit forms.

  • Complying with all facility safety and work rules; including, but not limited to security requirements, and following proper procedures for accident/incident reporting, emergency evacuation, etc.
  • Represent RR Donnelley Supply Chain Solutions in a professional manner.
  • Identify when an error is presented and take appropriate actions.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed work instructions for all tasks within the inventory department, working with Inventory team and cross-functional teams, as needed.
  • Assist in development of training guide for new inventory team members.
  • Certifying for forklift operation
  • Cross-train incycle counting
  • Providing additional coverage support and guidance whem team supervisor is out-of-office.

Disclosure Statement:

Thepay range for this role at the noted location is $18.45 to $22.04 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance,maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
