This Inventory Clerk is responsible for inventory and records management. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Does related work as required.
Step 1 ($22.44/hr) - Step 7 ($29.18/hr)
CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and two (2) years of office clerical experience with aptitude for learning new technology with at least one year experience with ordering, receiving, and issuing a variety of supplies and/or maintaining inventory records. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Detail oriented, excellent oral and written communication skills. Exhibit good judgment, mental alertness, tact and courtesy. Physical condition commensurate with the responsibilities of the position. Strong computer skills with aptitude for learning new software technology required.
This position is part of the New York State Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NYS HELPs). No examination is required. All interested applicants that meet the minimum civil service qualifications of an Inventory Control Clerk may apply.
