Job summary

Fresh Express Salads in Streamwood, IL is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory data in PRMS and support the inventory department. Daily counting and adjustments of packaging, film, raw materials and finished goods are essential duties.

Qualifications

• Work in cold environment (under 34 degrees).
• Work in wet environment with prolonged standing, noise exposure, and climbing stairs, frequent bending.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate inventory of finished goods, raw materials, packaging, film.
• Accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.
• Follow proper documentation procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Interface with production, warehouse, scheduling, etc., as needed.
• Inventory variance review, research, and explanations needed.
• Follow-up on findings of that research and corrective actions where appropriate.
• Maintain files so that they are readily available for review.
• Communicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing and Transportation team on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data in PRMS and providing support as needed in the inventory department. This requires daily counting and adjustments of packaging, film, raw and finished goods inventories.

Schedule:

• 5:00 am to 3:30 pm - Monday off (1 opening)
• 6:00 am to 4:30 pm - Friday off (1 opening)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate inventory of finished goods, raw materials, packaging, film.
• Accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.
• Follow proper documentation procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Interface with production, warehouse, scheduling, etc., as needed.
• Inventory variance review, research, and explanations needed.
• Follow-up on findings of that research s corrective actions where appropriate. This also includes MUV research and reports as required or requested by the accounting department of Inventory Manager.
• Maintain files so that they are readily available for review.
• Communicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing and Transportation team on a regular basis (proactive communication and information sharing as needed).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
