Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Inventory Support professional to join the team in Kentucky. You will assist in accurate counting of bulk merchandise, adjust inventory records, research discrepancies, and support returns and recalls while providing solid customer service. The role includes helping with physical inventory and contributing to new process improvements.

Full-time role with a daytime shift (Mon-Fri). Requires a high school diploma or GED and basic MS Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and math for inventory accuracy.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel; able to document processes.

Responsibilities

• Count bulk merchandise in warehouse locations with accuracy.
• Adjust inventory levels and research discrepancies.
• Process return authorizations, picks, packs, ships returns and recalls.
• Provide internal and external customer support and assist with physical inventory.
• Develop and implement new processes to improve auditability and efficiency.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Pay: $21.00 per hour not including shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately counts bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations.
• Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels.
• Research discrepancies as it relates to inventory levels, as needed.
• Requests return authorizations, pulls product, packages and ships returns and recalls.
• Provides internal and external customer support.
• Assists with physical inventory.
• Develops and implements new processes and procedures when necessary.
• Supports the Inventory Department with a variety of tasks such as placing purchase orders, writes narcotic blanks, monitors service levels and breaks down deals.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

Requires completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
