Job summary

Formula Direct Labor in Bristol, IN, is seeking an Inventory Clerk to ensure accurate inventory for materials used in manufacturing. You will perform cycle counts, maintain precise records, and collaborate with Operations to keep materials available when needed.

The role requires basic math, reading a tape measure, and experience with computerized inventory systems. You will follow safety rules, keep areas clean, and participate in continuous improvement of inventory processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Basic experience with computerized inventory systems required.
• Ability to read tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and spot audits of all materials based on established system.
• Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made, and entering packing slips.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the Operations teams have the materials they need when they need them. Responsible for answering inventory inquiries in a timely manner.
• Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory reports.
• Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help eliminate repetitive errors.
• Coordinate the logistics of inter-business transfers. Make sure parts are suitable for shipment and ensure the necessary paperwork, including shipping labels, is present for accurate information.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the accuracy of inventory for materials supplied to manufacturing processes through tracking and document inventory levels, maintaining accurate documentation, reporting trends and discrepancies.

Essential Functions:
