Job summary

CarMax is seeking an Auction Services Associate at our Frederick Auction Center to ensure inventory quality and customer satisfaction. Your role will include managing inventory, processing vehicles, and supporting auction operations while adhering to safety standards.

With a commitment to excellent service and teamwork, you will contribute to a dynamic environment that allows for growth and development. The role requires a High School diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and enter data accurately for inventory records.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with associates across multiple departments.
• Willingness to learn and strengthen operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily inventory appearance and security.
• Document and track inventory through shipping and receiving processes.
• Receive, prepare, and process vehicles for sale or auction.
• Support auction operations for seamless experience.
• Contribute to new associate training on best practices.
• Complete daily inventory scanning and reconciliation.
