MAC.BID seeks an Inventory Associate for our St. Peters location to ensure accurate stock, organize shelves, and assist customers during on-site operations. Daily scanning and inventory checks support auction close timelines.

The role requires on-site availability, ability to lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with team), and comfort with inventory software. Training provided; health benefits after probation and regular weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site with a standard 8-hour shift (8:00am–4:30pm; 30-minute lunch).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using inventory systems.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Daily scan of all purchased products still on shelves by auction close date.
• Ensure products are on correct shelves and tracked in the inventory system.
• Verify items are in warehouse or marked as picked up by customers.
• Review missing product lists and escalate unresolved items.
• Keep shelves neat and barcodes visible for easy retrieval.
• Be proficient with the inventory check interface dashboard.
• Understand how auction items are categorized with auction and lot numbers.
• Assist with removal if workload requires.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Inventory associate ensures that all products are accounted for, either on the shelves or picked up. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily scan of all purchased products still on shelves, in order of auction close date
• Ensure the product is situated on the correct shelves
• Ensure all items are either properly in the warehouse or scanned as picked up by the customer
• Review the missing product list to search for missing items
• Escalate missing product to the general manager if not found
• Organize/neaten product for easy retrieval (barcodes on outside, product stacked safely)
• Be proficient with the inventory check interface dashboard
• Know how auction items are categorized on the shelves, including auction and lot numbers
• May help with removal if workload dictates
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
