Job summary

TSMC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Inventory & Asset Control Specialist to manage equipment and parts inventory, forecast needs, and source materials for on-site projects at the Phoenix facility.

The role collaborates with Facilities, vendors, and internal customers, ensuring safety, compliance with building codes, and efficient service delivery. Willingness to travel to Taiwan for training is required.

Qualifications

  • Education requirement: Bachelor's degree or 2 years related experience.
  • Experience with inventory tracking and parts sourcing.
  • Proficient MS Office; strong communication and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of safety and facilities operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory management & forecasting
  • Source contract vendors for onsite projects or long term services
  • Maintain a clean, safe workplace and uphold safety standards
  • Develop relationships with factory customers and Facilities counterparts
  • Provide excellent customer service across all levels of TSMC staff and stakeholders
  • Direct vendors supporting FOH activities
  • Inspect buildings’ physical plant daily to ensure high quality services
  • Ensure site compliance with state and local building codes
  • Plan and schedule maintenance for facility assets including Preventative, Predictive, Corrective, and Reactive
  • Coordinate with Facilities Shift Supervisors for off-shift needs and improvements
  • Monitor contractors to ensure work meets contract specifications
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through insource vs outsource
  • Understand site performance indicators and report gaps
  • Assist in annual budget development for outsourced services
  • Generate Purchase Orders, pay invoices, and track vendor expenditures
  • Collaborate with Front of House to define scope for outsourced services
  • Support RFPs and ongoing vendor management including scorecards
  • Develop partnerships with vendors and onboarding processes
  • Process PR/PO and complete invoices for payment

Inventory & Asset Control Specialist
Your Main Responsibilities Include
  • Management of equipment & parts inventory, including audits.
  • Source and purchase equipment & parts for items within the teams’ scope (plumbing parts, electrical parts, tools, etc.)
  • Inventory management & forecasting
  • Source contract vendors to provide services for onsite projects or to provide long term services
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workplace and sets a high bar for working safely
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the factory customers and Facilities counterparts
  • Strong customer service skills to interact with all levels of TSMC employees (including Executive level), Customer Representatives and Government officials
  • Provide Direction to vendors supporting FOH activities
  • Inspect buildings’ physical plant daily to guarantee that building services are at the highest level of quality standards.
  • Ensure the site is operating according to state and local building codes.
  • Plan and schedule all maintenance work on facility assets including Preventative, Predictive, Corrective and Reactive.
  • Work closely with Facilities Shift Supervisors to support any off-shift maintenance needs, identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance program
  • Monitor contractors work and ensure work is being performed in accordance with contract specification.
  • Continually evaluate service delivery process and make needed changes to drive cost savings initiatives including insource vs. outsource
  • Understand and support Site performance indicators
  • Assist in annual budget development and management for outsourced services
  • Generate Purchase Orders (PO’s), pay invoices, and track vendor expenditures
  • Work with Front of house manager to generate scope for outsourced services
  • Work closely with Front of house manager and Procurement during RFP and perform ongoing service provider management including score cards
  • Develop partnerships with vendors and familiarize with Vendor onboarding process.
  • PR/PO and process completed invoices for payment
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum 2-year experience in related field.

  • Experience with equipment inventory & tracking, sourcing parts, and mechanical & equipment functionality
