Position Summary

The Inventory and Logistics Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This is a full-time, in-office role, Monday through Friday. The position includes providing hands-on training and day-to-day guidance to Warehouse Associates, particularly in international shipping procedures and best practices in inventory management. Additionally, this role actively supports the Procurement Team by offering inventory insights, managing stock levels, and coordinating incoming materials.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute domestic and international shipping and receiving processes
  • Lead and mentor Warehouse Associates, providing hands-on training in logistics and inventory control
  • Partner closely with the Procurement Team to monitor inventory levels, assist with reorder planning, and ensure timely receipt of purchased materials
  • Build crates and pallets for custom packaging needs
  • Accurately pack and label products to ensure safe delivery
  • Organize and maintain product inventory in warehouse and storage areas
  • Track and maintain precise inventory counts across all bins and locations
  • Perform inventory movements in ERP system to ensure accurate valuation and traceability
  • Ensure optimal organization of warehouse layout and shop floor workflow
  • Support facility maintenance and act as liaison for on-site vendor services
  • Operate forklift safely and in compliance with certification standards

Desired Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in shipping and receiving, with international shipping experience preferred
  • Background in general construction or woodworking is a strong asset
  • Experience with ERP systems and performing inventory transactions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Experience supporting procurement or purchasing functions is a plus
