New Balance, Lawrence Distribution Center in Lawrence, MA, is seeking an Inventory Analyst to monitor and improve inventory accuracy across distribution hubs. You will investigate discrepancies, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive root-cause analyses and corrective actions to protect inventory integrity.

The role emphasizes data-driven governance, performance dashboards, and collaboration with Finance and Operations to sustain world-class inventory controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, logistics operations, or distribution.
• Strong experience investigating inventory discrepancies and conducting root cause analysis.
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; MS Power BI preferred.
• Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (D365/Manhattan).
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Finance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure inventory records accurately reflect physical inventory and business transactions and resolve inventory-related issues.
• Lead investigations into inventory discrepancies, stock variances, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation issues across our Distribution Centers.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, recurring issues, and potential process failures.
• Perform root cause analysis on inventory transactions, shipment discrepancies, receiving issues, returns processing, and system-related inventory variances.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to validate findings and resolve discrepancies.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions to minimize future inventory inaccuracies.
