Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech division is seeking an Inventory Analyst Co-Op in Guaynabo, PR. The role spans January–December 2027, full-time 40 hours/week, focusing on inventory analytics, reporting, and governance across the supply chain.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, using Power BI, SAP, Excel, and data analysis to balance service levels with inventory investment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate freshman year completed is required.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher across college coursework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Preferred experience with Power BI or other BI tools.
• Knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, or supply chain planning concepts.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles.
• Experience with Power Query, SQL, Python, or data visualization tools.
• Previous internship, co-op, academic project, or leadership experience.
• U.S. work authorization; no sponsorship required.
• Students on CPT/OPT/STEM OPT may require sponsorship for long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Support global inventory management, analytics, and digitalization initiatives across the supply chain.
• Assist in monitoring inventory performance metrics including service levels and excess stock.
• Prepare recurring dashboards and reports for leadership reviews using Power BI and Excel.
• Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to optimize inventory policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial.
• Assist in scenario analyses related to lead times, demand variability, and network changes.
• Support data governance by validating data and maintaining documentation.
• Participate in special projects that improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
