Job summary

Air Distribution Limited in Oklahoma is seeking an Inventory Analyst to ensure the availability, accuracy, and integrity of inventory needed to support production schedules and customer commitments. You will perform daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, coordinate with suppliers and production teams, and participate in quarterly inventories to optimize stockroom efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with related experience or equivalent combination is expected.
Data entry and inventory transaction processing experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems, MAPICS or similar inventory management platforms.
Strong analytical aptitude and mechanical reasoning skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cycle counting and reporting activities for both primary and secondary inventory locations.
Execute inventory control procedures to identify, research, and resolve inventory balance discrepancies.
Conduct daily location audits to validate inventory placement and location accuracy.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all materials are properly accounted for within inventory control systems.
Review work order closure variance reports and investigate inventory-related discrepancies.
Coordinate with suppliers, production teams, and materials management to ensure required materials are available to support production schedules.
Monitor material availability and communicate shortages, delays, and supply concerns to appropriate departments.
Attend daily production meetings to review job status, material shortages, and potential schedule impacts.
Maintain job-specific inventory and material data and communicate discrepancies promptly to stakeholders.
Assist in production scheduling activities as needed to support operational requirements.
Support receiving discrepancy investigations and non-conforming material resolution.
Coordinate with materials management to support quarterly physical inventories, including occasional Saturday shifts.
