Job Summary:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring optimal stock levels to support business operations. This role monitors inventory movements, investigates discrepancies, and analyzes inventory data to improve accuracy and efficiency. The Inventory Analyst also collaborates with Import Specialist, Ops, and buyer to prevent shortages, reduce excess inventory, and support overall inventory management strategies using appropriate tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Redirects – Coordinate and process redirect requests to ensure products are routed to the correct destination in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform Inventory Corrections – Investigate discrepancies and execute inventory corrections to maintain accurate system and physical inventory records.
- Oversee Inventory Adjustment Process – Review, approve, and process inventory adjustments while ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Coordinate Truck Transfers – Plan and manage inter-facility truck transfers to support efficient inventory movement across locations.
- Validate Inventory Dashboards – Monitor and validate inventory dashboards to ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights for operational teams.
- Haverty's New PO and LS Placement/Submittals – Send over new Haverty's production and loading schedule breakouts.
- Loading Schedule Submittals – Submit all loading schedules to the factory
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly master new software programs
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Ability to listen, comprehend, and process direction from supervisor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
