Job summary

Boyd Corp in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage material and labor variances, perform cycle counts, and verify data accuracy. This role requires hands-on work in a warehouse environment and strong collaboration with production, purchasing, and customer service teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems, especially Business Central, and be highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office is expected.

Job Description Essential Duties Include:

• Reconciling material used vs actual
• Tracking material and labor variances
• Doing cycle counts of materials
• Identify trends in material and labor variances
• Data verification and entry
• Frequent communication with production, warehouse, set up, scheduling, purchasing, and customer service

Qualifications:

• Strong drive for accuracy
• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse administration, and ERP systems
• Proven record of being able to resolve inventory variances and a willingness to work towards permanent corrective actions
• Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel
• Strong knowledge and experience of warehouse and inventory systems

Education:

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent

• Ability to work with multiple departments daily
• Ability to learn and master Business Central ERP system
