Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Cycle Counter to ensure accurate inventory in the distribution center. You will perform daily, weekly, and quarterly counts, investigate variances, and record results in the system.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year DC experience, and proficiency with MS Office and warehouse systems. Willingness to work with PIT equipment and RF guns is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in a distribution center is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems encouraged.
• Experience with cycle counting is highly desired.
• Ability to count accurately and perform unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle counts.
• Reconcile discrepancies and research variances in usage and cost.
• Execute inventory transactions in the business software.
• Use RF guns and P.I.T. equipment to count locations.
• Adhere to all safety procedures during tasks.
