Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Stocktaker to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy. You will count merchandise across warehouse areas, compare counts against the database, and assist customers in selecting and retrieving products from shelves.

The role requires good math, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 20-25 lbs frequently and 50-100 lbs occasionally. Overtime may be needed in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong arithmetic and counting accuracy.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with grocery/warehouse product lines helpful.
• Willingness to work flexible hours/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly cycle counts.
• Walk through warehouse sections to count products.
• Scan products and enter counted quantities.
• Move products to maintain accurate counts.
• Count products in security cage as required.
• Research discrepancies in the company system (JSS).
• Operate scissor lift when needed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating products and information.
