Job summary

Momentec Brands in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain accurate finished goods inventory. You will tally counts in designated locations, enter data into a computer terminal, and support distribution center tasks such as receiving, shipping, and picking.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, basic math, data entry, and the ability to operate a stand-up forklift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate computer and tablet technology.
• Ability to count and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Tally the entire product inventory in designated stocking locations by recording counts on paper and entering data into a computer terminal.
• Operate stand-up forklift for counting bulk stock locations.
• Support other distribution center areas to facilitate customer order processing, including replenishment, receiving, shipping, full case picking, and slotting.
• Remove cartons from the line and place them in appropriate stock locations.
• Consolidate cartons with identical garments as needed to ensure safe placement in designated stock locations.
• Print missing location labels and attach them to bin locations.
• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
• Pick orders and assist with distribution as necessary.
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and handle inventory-related tasks with accuracy.
• Assist with other responsibilities within the Distribution departments to meet business and service requirements.
